Overview

Recruiter Description & Duties:

 

The Recruiter will act as a strategic, full lifecycle recruiting business partner, responsible for working with the hiring managers to develop recruiting strategies for positions throughout the company. This role will obtain approvals for candidates, conduct prescreens and interviews, write employment offers, and coordinate other pre-employment tasks as necessary.

 

Duties may include, but are not limited to:

 

Responsibilities

  • Screens resumes, interviews candidates (by phone or in person), follows up with the related clerical aspects of recruiting process, such as scheduling and conducting phone and on-site interviews, makes recommendations for hire (or not hire).
  • Delivers employment offers for both exempt and nonexempt position openings, coordinates employee’s start date with job-specific department and training department. Communicates important employment information during delivery of employment offers (e.g., benefits, compensation, total rewards).
  • Develop strong working relationships with hiring managers to establish current and future hiring needs.
  • Manage the recruiting efforts of up to 10+ requisitions and acts as a subject matter expert for areas of staffing responsibility. 
  • Participates in the internal transfer process, including screening, coordination of interviews with hiring manager, transfer offer letters, etc.
  • Develops and maintains an excellent relationship with internal and external clients to ensure achievement of staffing goals.
  • Maintains current candidate activity in the applicant tracking system (ATS) and Excel to ensure proper measurement of recruiting tactics are recorded.
  • Implement and maintain ongoing operation of TA systems and technology.
  • Maintain recruiting analytics and metrics by data tracking.
  • Uses traditional and nontraditional resources to source passive and active candidates including career fairs, community network events, social media, networking, etc., to identify, attract, and maintain a pool of quality candidates.
  • Other duties as assigned by management. Must be able to come to work promptly and regularly. Must be able to take direction and work well with others. Must be able to work under the stress of deadlines. Must be able to concentrate and perform accurately. Must be able to react to change productively.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Two-year degree from an accredited College or University with 3+ years of recruiting experience in a high-growth industry; or combination of education and relevant recruiting experience.
  • Knowledge of an application tracking system is desirable. Knowledge of LinkedIn or other social media platforms is desirable.
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business.
  • An individual should have knowledge of Word Processing software; Spreadsheet software.

Pay Range

USD $58,000.00 - USD $60,000.00 /Yr.

Working Conditions

Working Conditions:

Office environment with significant time spent sitting, typing and talking on the telephone.
